We believe when children are engaged and having fun with one another, they build an intrinsic desire to connect with others. We focus on pragmatic language, flexible thinking, compromising, negotiating, problem solving, understanding hidden social rules, expected and unexpected social behaviors, perspective taking, and non-verbal communication. We believe it is important for children to learn how to self-advocate in various social environments. We also focus on self-regulation and building socially competent kids. We incorporate these developmental skills by engaging the children in high interest activities that encourage team building, collaborative play, and reciprocal conversations.
